Return to Rodin Plug-ins

The CamilleX feature provides text editors for XContexts and and XMachines which then compiled automatically to Event-B contexts and machines.
Extension to Event-B including the machine inclusion mechanism is also supported.

Please have a look also at the User Guide.

Current version
The CamilleX version 2.1.0 is available as a separate feature from the main Soton Plug-in update site (under the CamilleX category). Notice that the Soton plug-in update site is now included in the composite Rodin Update Site.

Principles
The CamilleX editors (i.e., XContext and XMachine editors) operate on the separate XContext and XMachine text file and they are compiled to the Rodin files.
Sonhttps://wiki.event-b.org/index.php?title=File:RodinWorkshop2021_Examples_of_using_the_Instantiation_Plug-in_slides.pdf&diff=14474File:RodinWorkshop2021 Examples of using the Instantiation Plug-in slides.pdf2021-06-15T15:17:54Z
Son: Examples of using the instantiation plug-in (Rodin Workshop 2021)

The 9th Rodin User and Developer Workshop, 8 June, 2021, Ulm, Germany (Virtual)

The proceedings of the workshop is now available as a [technical report] at the University of Southampton.

The programme now available on the ABZ2021 website and below (with texts).

Event-B is a formal method for system-level modelling and analysis. The
Rodin Platform is an Eclipse-based toolset for Event-B that provides
effective support for modelling and automated proof. The platform is open
source and is further extendable with plug-ins. A range of plug-ins have
already been developed.

The 9th Rodin workshop will be collocated with the ABZ 2021 Conference.

The purpose of this workshop is to bring together existing and potential
users and developers of the Rodin toolset and to foster a broader community
of Rodin users and developers.

For Rodin users the workshop will provide an opportunity to share tool
experiences and to gain an understanding of on-going tool developments.
For plug-in developers the workshop will provide an opportunity to showcase
their tools and to achieve better coordination of tool development effort.

(Due to the situation with Corona-Virus the ABZ2020 conference will be postponed to 2021. Our workshop will be collocated with ABZ2021 around June 2021)

Event-B is a formal method for system-level modelling and analysis. The Rodin Platform is an Eclipse-based toolset for Event-B that provides effective support for modelling and tool-assisted reasoning, in particular, automated proof. The platform is open source and can be extended with plug-ins. A range of plug-ins are available that can be installed via the built-in extensions mechanism of Eclipse.

The 8th Rodin workshop will be collocated with the ABZ2020 Conference.

The purpose of this workshop is to bring together existing and potential users and developers of the Rodin toolset and to foster a broader community of Rodin users and developers.

For Rodin users the workshop will provide an opportunity to share tool experiences and to gain an understanding of on-going tool developments. For plug-in developers the workshop will provide an opportunity to showcase their tools and to achieve better coordination of tool development effort.

If you are interested in giving a presentation at the Rodin workshop or have a plug-in to demonstrate, send a short abstract (1 or 2 pages PDF) to [mailto:rodin@ecs.soton.ac.uk?subject=RodinWorkshop2020%20Contribution rodin@ecs.soton.ac.uk] by some time in 2021 with subject [RodinWorkshop2020] Contribution, indicating whether it is a tool usage or tool development presentation.

We will endeavour to accommodate all submissions that are clearly relevant to Rodin and Event-B.

The proceedings of the workshop will be available as a technical report at the University of Southampton.
